How the Championship Works
The Virginia Triple Crown champion is determined by best average finish across all three races. A driver must compete in all three events to be eligible. The overall Triple Crown purse is $50,000, distributed across the top 10 in the final standings. The champion takes home $20,000.
NASCAR and FloSports added $50,000 to the combined Triple Crown purse beginning in 2025, making it the richest late model stock car championship in Virginia.

About the Virginia Triple Crown: Now in its 10th season, the Virginia Triple Crown connects three of the most prestigious late model stock car races on the East Coast. South Boston Speedway opens the series in June, Langley Speedway hosts the midseason Hampton Heat in July, and Martinsville Speedway closes the championship under the lights in September. The ValleyStar Credit Union 300 at Martinsville — with its $125,000 purse and $32,000 winner's share — is the richest late model stock car race in the country.
